CONCEAL NOTHING...DEFEND NOTHING...EXCUSE NOTHING...WE WILL GOVERN...WE WILL CONQUER...WE WILL DOMINATE...Taking the lead in following Jesus! "Not by might, nor by power..but by the Spirit of the living God." -Zec 4:6
_weeee.. advance happy birthday Tita-mama! October 28, 2009!!! yahoo..life begins a 40 daw.. but I believe, life begins the moment we give our hearts and life to Jesus!
_I'm thankful to God for giving me someone who loves me like her own child. = )
_my prayer is that God will preserve her life...more blessing...and above all, she'll be able to encounter God and eventually serve Him with all her heart...soul...mind...and strenght!
_weee..I jus realized that I'm so blessed to be part of someone's 12. I'm grateful to be able to grasp the G12 vision. = ) Thanks Pastor Ruffy for explaining to us the significance to be part of the 12.
_Thanks also to Nanai Aj, who prayed and believed...for not filling the last spot for her 12 for she really believed and she knows in her heart that I'm one of her 12. (kaiyak naman ako..XD tnx nai!) Wew! It's all by God's grace that I was able to find my way back in His arms!
_Now, I'm praying, searching, and working for my 12. I believe that God has prepared them right from the start. And I also let God prepare me for them. I know it's a big responsibility but I believe that God will be with me. The multitude...the fruits...is just he result of my relationship with God. My 12 is not mine, they are God's. Whatever happens...my confidence is in the Lord.
_weee...just got home from a powerful night @ Youth Reload Livewire! I'm really blessed to be there.. not just enjoying God's presence..but above all, the revelation and the opportunity to be blessed and inspired by the young warriors of God from YWAM or Youth With A Mission. They are young men and women from 6 different nations who, by God's grace and providence, responded to God's great calling to be in the mission field.
_I'm really amazed by what God has done in their lives. Thanks to their exciting performances, powerful testimony and their prayer for us young people here in the Philippines.
_Like them, I want to see miracles happening in our city...in our nation. God has been so faithful in my life. Nothing we can do could make Him love us more and nothing that we've done could make Him close the door. Yeah! Consider God's love everyday! God longs for us more than we long for Him.
_Now, I'm picking my self up. God wants me to surrender eveything to Him and put my trust in Him totally...for me to see miracles and for Him to show His great power.
"I'm giving you my heart and all that is within...I lay it all down for the sake of You my King...I'm giving You my dreams, I'm giving You my life...I'm giving You my pride for the promise of new life...and I surrender all to You...all to You."
_it takes His grace that I could surrender to Him...and it also takes my decision...
"Lord...teach me how to love You more...You are already in love with me." g o o d n i g h t! = )
_already midnight but before sleeping..just want to share something..
_life is not perfect..so as moments in lfe are not always happy. A surrendered life to Jesus doesn't mean a problem-and-sadness-free life. we take up our cross everyday so expect for insurmmountable trials, pain, and sometimes brokeness and desperation... During these moments, some may tend to feel so down and eventually lose hope. I for one have expereinced that I feel like I am not worthy to praise and worship God or I don't have any reason to worship...It's frustrating. but I have discovered a song by Vineyard entitled "Yet I Will Praise"... a song of a weary heart but still chose to praise the Lord...
I will praise You Lord my God Even in my brokenness I will praise You Lord I will praise You Lord my God Even in my desperation I will praise You Lord And I can't understand All that You allow I just can't see the reason But my life is in Your hands And though I cannot see You I choose to trust You Even when my heart is torn I will praise (trust) You Lord Even when I feel deserted I will praise (trust) You Lord Even in my darkest valley I will praise (trust) You Lord And when my world is shattered and it seems all hope is gone Yet I will praise You Lord
I will trust You Lord my God Even in my loneliness I will trust You Lord I will trust You Lord my God Even when I cannot hear You I will trust You Lord And I will not forget That You hung on a cross Lord You bled and died for me And if I have to suffer I know that You've been there And I know that You're here now _life may not always be perfect..things may not always be as we want them to be..our life is in God's hand. He knows everything hat we are going through..and above all, He understands...
John 11:35 says...Jesus' wept _a very short passage but leave us many reasons to smile because we know that God knows the pain inside..all we have to do is to cast our burdens upon Him...
_He can comfort us in a way that no one else can do except Him...
_no class so I spent my whole morning reading God’s Word and have my devotional (so hungry and thirsty kasi di naka pagdevo for 3 days..huhuhu..igo lang ko nagbasa..) But praise God for His grace..nakapagdevo ako = )
_just want to share something…As Christians, God called us to pursue righteousness. 1 John 5:18 says that “we know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin”. But human as we are, we think that it is impossible. “Tao lang kasi, nagkakamali din…sabi nga nila.” But before looking to the fact that it is hard to do, God encourages us to do such thing through holding on to His promises.
*Promises from Proverbs 14 and 15
For those who pursue righteousness…
Great treasure (Prov. 15:6)
“The house of the righteous contains great treasure…”
You please God
(Prov. 15:8)
“…the prayer of the upright pleases Him.”
(Prov. 15:26)
“…those of the pure are pleasing to Him.”
God’s love is upon you (Prov. 15:9)
“…He loves those who pursue righteousness.”
God hears your prayers (Prov. 15:29)
“…He hears the prayer of the righteous.”
You save life (Prov. 14:25)
“A truthful witness saves lives…”
You find love and faithfulness (Prov. 14:22)
“But those who plan what is good find (or show) love and faithfulness.”
There is protection (Prov. 14:3)
“But the lips of the wise protect them.”
Our Nation will rise up (Prov. 14:34)
“Righteousness exalts a nation…”
_These promises will strengthen and all the more hearten us to pursue righteousness. Rather than thinking that it is hard, stick with these promises of rewards. Pursuing righteousness is an opportunity to please and glorify God. After all, He promised that we “can do anything through Him who gives us strength” (Phil. 4:13) and “the one who was born of God keeps Him safe, and the evil one cannot harm Him.”(1 John 5:18)
_Pursue righteousness “NOT BY MIGHT, NOR BY POWER BUT BY THE SPIRIT” (Zec. 4:6) of the LIVING GOD!!! It is not easy, but it is not impossible.
_Life is too short that at times we take things in a hurry, especially if there are "open doors" or opportunities. And at times, we tend to forget that God knows the best time to do and have the things we yearn for.
_It was about several months ago that I really planned to buy a new school shoes(mejo sira na kasi) and a 3-in-1 Webster reference book (a dictionary, thesaurus, and grammar books---English major kasi XD). I need almost a thousand to buy all these things..well, important and useful things. Actually, I had already raised 700php out from savings and "other blessings". It was about the last week of August that I really attempted to go to mall and shop! (aw! masking gamay ra gud paliton! hahaha)
_HOWEVER, it was also the time that I had come back to the ministry and SUNOG MINDANAO III was about to start. I have always dreamed to join a G12 conference like this and I said to myself that "yes! this is it!". But, the event is not free. My leader said that I have to pay 250 for my registration fee(but when i was there, thanks God that the evening session will only pay 150! yeah! God is good!).
_ To make the story short, I spent the money that was intended for my shoes and books. I invested my money for furthering God's Kingdom through joining the Sunog Mindanao III, through giving (my tithes and offering xempre), and through other expenses such as dinner before going there and transportation. (haha..gibanggit jud).
_And yes, I wasn't able to buy the things that I desired to have, but the portion and the annointing I have received is worth it! It was an amazing experience for me! The fire that was once quenched was ignited once more. I never regret that I've invested my money for God's work and for His glory. = )
BUT THE BEST THING THAT HAPPENED IS THAT I REALIZED THAT GOD KNOWS THE BEST TIME FOR ME TO HAVE THE THINGS I WANT.
_Just a week after the conference, my mom and I were got caught with the "UK bonanza" at San Pedro (hahaha). I believe it's God's way. That night, I was able to buy 2 pair of shoes for 180php only. I was so amazed and thankful that night. I know it is God's blessing out of my investment for His glory. Yeah!
_But aside from that, another thing happened..just last tuesday, I went to San Pedro to accompany my bestfriend "bok" or kookai to get her allowance. After that, we went to Velasco Bookstore to buy something. We were going to Jollibee that time (nilibre niya ako..weee) however, when we are about to cross the street, I remembered that I left my folder at the baggage counter (makakalimutin kasi!XD). And surprisingly, I saw the travelling truck that sells books in a more affordable price and yes, the book that I was longing to have was available for only 195php. Without any doubt, I immediately bought a set. My joy that time was really unexplainable. Once more, God proved to me that He always knows the best time to have the things I desire. I was reminded of His word "delight yourself to the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." (Psalm 37:4) = ) wew!
"these all look to You to give them their food at the proper time" (Psalm 104:27) God knows our needs and desires and He will give it in the proper time no matter what it is(fruits or disciples, own house, cars, and even "the Jacob or Rachel" of our lives..wee) We just have to continue looking at Him...prioritizing His Kingdom all the time!
_currently enjoying the book I've just bought! Thank You Lord! What an advance gift for Christmas..yet I know more sublime things are yet to come. = )
_weee.. this day, a thorn has been pulled out from me! hahaha... yahoo... coz our group is already done with our debate! = )
_just wanna thank my groupmates for the "good fight!"
AMOR---our deputy prime minister who made the debate so much fun with her humurous manner and speech! (yeah..you made mam labad laugh a lot!) ROXANNE---our whip,at the same time the best speaker of the day, for defending our side cleverly! (see?kulba2x pa ka! haha)
_classmates who said "hear" for agreeing in our points! haha! and Ma'am Labad, our professor in Public Speaking and Debate subject, for her compliments and fair assessment and evaluation. = )
_for all those who pray for us! (Nanai, sissies...and others-many to mention- haha..you know who you are) I am so appreciative and I let God return the favor to all of you. muah!
_and most especially, to the source of the knowledge, wisdom, confidence, and strength...our Almighty and 'ever-supportive' FATHER God! Thank You Lord, we could not make it with excellence without Your grace! = )
_time check:6am just done with my devo...(thanks God for the wisdom!)
_so excited for the sunday service.. yes! gonna see my GCHAMP family! (waa..miss them na tsuper!)
_I am glad coz I have spent a day with my biological family (kaya rin nakapagnet ako kasi may PC sila with net!XD) I pray that they will be able to serve God with me. (Thanks Ptr Ruffy for reminding me of God's promise in Acts 16:31 "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD") Someday, I'll not just be alone...but I'll be entering in BCC with mama,papa,kuya,sissy... even tito and tita (yeah..looking forward for that day!)
*for my children and children's children*
_God is speaking to me about pursuing purity and rigtheousness for the past days.. (reading I kissed dating goodbye din kasi.^^) I know that setting this as my goal would be beneficial for me and be a way of glorifying God.
But I've also realized this day that it is not just for me... God promised in Psalm 102:28: "the children of Your servants will live in Your presence; their descendants will be established before You." and.. "Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet created may praise the Lord." (Psalm 102:18)
_I dream that my future children will be welcomed not by a chaotic and perverse world but a world that pursues righteousness and purity through Jesus Christ.
_Now is my generation. And what I do with my generation will eventually bring effect on the next generation, the time of my children. If I am not going to do anything, who else will?Though it is not easy but it is not impossible(with God, of course).
_So I'm going straight...living clean...and leading now... for God's glory and for my children and children's children!
_busy as a bee..buzzzzzZZzzzz the whole WEEK in school is so busy. It's finals already! requirements.portfolio.debate.exams. I am preoccupied by all these stuff. (urghh..sometimes I fail to manage my time)
_I wasn't able to have my open cell yesterday(sob -.-). I miss my girls. Yet, I should never give up. I thank God for His encouragement. "Even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit." (1 Corinthians 5:3) I'll be with them in spirit..through prayer! buti nlng nakapag devo!
_though busy, I thank God for setting my feet at the shiny floor of BCC for the "CELL LEADER SUMMIT". alone (coz nanai and sissies are also busy) but I am grateful to know other cell leaders... yummy merienda..yummy WORD!!!
_I miss my GOLDEN CHAMP family! but...again... "Even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit" even if we do not see each other always..I believe we are together in spirit. = )
_currently making my bring home exam in public speaking and debate subject... (wisdom Lord!.Thanks!)
